UEFA Champions League/Europa League 5/6/7 November *** Spoilers ***

I'll take that result! Not the most deserved I've seen but I don't think they deserved the win at ours. Group still wide open. Hopefully the confidence will do us wonders at the weekend.

Despite how it looks now - your group still looks awkward to say the least (because BD could /should possibly win both of their remaining games), so it may well come down to results vs each other / goal difference with 12 points apiece (unless you beat Napoli - which could happen, but Im not so sure it will)

I remember that troll pic from last year.

Yeah definitely many ways this can go still. Although Marseille haven't been great they aren't the sort of team you can just roll over easily, a few seem to be taking a win against them for granted (same for Dortmund playing them as well). A point from Napoli would be a very good result and then beating Marseille would leave us on 13 points which I think would mean we win the group. If we get beaten at Napoli though it's all up in the air as you say with 3 teams potentially on 12 points. By far the toughest group we've been in before and will be a massive achievement if we get through especially by winning the group.

Ramsey was very unlucky not to get 2 last night, it really is pretty amazing how he can be so poor in quite a few games yet still pull out goal after goal. Ozil was very quiet again although hugely influential in the goal as at Liverpool at the weekend. Am hoping he's still getting used to playing for Arsenal and am expecting big things from him next year in these sort of games.

EDIT

How come we are playing Marseille next? I thought you always played the first 3 fixtures in reverse? We can seal qualification if results go our way by winning the next match.

Another game of two halves at the Bridge last night. We weren't getting anywhere until that give away goal by the Schalke keeper. Many of us were too busy talking at the time so missed it and had to wait until half-time to see it. :o

It was plain sailing after that and Eto'o got a lovely second goal. Just a point from our next game will secure a place in the next round.

For some reason I thought Napoli had beaten you when I wrote that earlier this morning , my mstake. You have a very good chance of toping the group now as you say as long as you get a draw away to them in the least (even a 1-0 loss would work in your favour too if you both end up on the same points)

Celtic fans attacked. They did retaliate, There were 15 arrests, mostly Celtic supporters," said a police statement.
"At the end of the afternoon, a large group of Celtic supporters attacked police officers in plain clothes. Eight were injured and one left unconscious."

How many times does that Piers Morgan tweet have to be re-posted?? lol, old as the hills itself.

Everyone knows hes a knobber of the highest category so id take anything that he says Arsenal wise with a huge pinch of salt....him and DM would make great bed buddies:p.

Havent seen DM post about the match last night, guess he must still be in shock that we won but no doubt if he does post...it will be criticisms of how crap our defence was, how rubbish we were going forward and last but not least...how utterly lucky we were to get a goal from really nothing.

Forgot to say, thought Rosicky was MOTM.

For me i would say it was Arteta, had another outstanding game although it got a bit spicy with some of the tackles flying in. Rosicky was very good but i thought he gave the ball away far too oftne especially when he was being surrounded by Dortmund players but it was his work that led to the goal. He lost the ball, managed to somehow get the ball back, passed it off to Ozil who was being more and more influential as the game went on and the rest is history.

Id also put Ramsey as MOTM for that goal he got, luckily he was quick enough to get ahead of Subotic and head the ball in.
