UEFA Champions League/Europa League 5/6/7 November *** Spoilers ***

For me i would say it was Arteta, had another outstanding game although it got a bit spicy with some of the tackles flying in. Rosicky was very good but i thought he gave the ball away far too oftne especially when he was being surrounded by Dortmund players but it was his work that led to the goal. He lost the ball, managed to somehow get the ball back, passed it off to Ozil who was being more and more influential as the game went on and the rest is history.

Id also put Ramsey as MOTM for that goal he got, luckily he was quick enough to get ahead of Subotic and head the ball in.

+1. I agree, and I am glad we were able to get a goal and defend it not worrying to much about playing the most beautiful football on earth and winning that way. As United have done many many times before getting that one goal (be it playing not the most beautiful football) and winning.

I just thought Rosicky was so positive and got stuck in with plenty of tackles as well. He's looking good lately. Ramsey although scoring wasn't anywhere near as influential. Thought Arteta's yellow card was a bit harsh although some of his tackling was a little reckless.

Hardly struggling, just don't have the invention to get through the bus at the minute.

Lamela is starting to look the part though and good to have Capoue back.

Fingers crossed we up the tempo a bit in the 2nd half

We actually looked halfway competent that half. There was some nice linkup between our attacking 4 with some (shock horror) movement into space from attacking players.

i'd like us to go 4-4-2 on sunday with lamela on the right, townsend on the left and soldado and defoe upfront.

lamela shone tonight, it's clear he has some great skill, let's see if he can use it against a pl team.

eriksen and sig were quiet but it was good to see capoue return.

How was it?

If you have some pics/videos post them in here. :)

The whole trip was excellent as usual when travelling to Germany. The atmosphere wasn't as good as 2 years ago but I guess now there's a level of expectation with Dortmund fans although their support was still better than any premier league home support.

Only took 2 photos, was too boozed up, singing and watching the match to take any and those two were rubbish :p I'll stick them up later though. I tired recording the atmosphere but kept missing it when their fans were in full swing :o
