UEFA Champions League/Europa League 7/8/9 May *** Spoilers ***

The commentators on Suarez are such hypocrites. When he was a Liverpool player his nasty streak was glossed over so much!

Well each to their own I guess and there is no accounting for how much bitterness someone might have, but an English team, in the semi final of a European cup, 3-0 down from the first leg, who fight back to 3-3, will always get my backing, regardless of which shirt they wear. Call me weak , call me a patriot, or call me whatever else. Its who I am.

Plus I don't know how anyone can cheer for Suarez....

Each to their own I'd never want Liverpool to win any game, I don't care who they're playing, couldn't care less if they're an English team or not.

It's exactly why I said what I said earlier, what suarez is doing tonight and in previous leg is everything he did for us so we can't complain really

Fair enough, as I say, theres no accounting for how bitter some are. Each to their own. Hope you can find some enjoyment in what remains of the game anyway.

Im in a hotel with no BT sport so I'm having to basically listen to the game via Darren "to be fair" Bent so the chances of enjoying what remains of the game are slim :(

It’s not about being bitter, it’s about supporting a rival club. That’s how football works, you either don’t support a direct rival of Liverpool or you’re not a proper fan of that club.

Liverpool fans would be the exact same way if it was United in this match

I'm enjoying Barca collapsing and Liverpool steam-rollering them with intensity. However, the commentators in the UK are so gash. I wish we could get a better quality of analysis and insight.

I'm a Liverpool supporter and I would, and have, cheered Utd against European opposition. If that makes me not a proper fan of Liverpool, then thats fair enough. I consider myself a football fan who is able to see beyond the tribalistic nature of many. If you put my 11 players into someone elses shirts, I dont suddenly dislike them just because their shirt has changed. But as I've said before, each to their own, I'm just someone who doesnt have that level of hate or dislike or whatever in them. Lifes too short for me to be like that about something.

But anyway, back to the game!

Liverpool have been terrific tonight. Without two very influential players they really have put it all out there. The only player I could be critical of is Shaquiri. His play is not at the same level. He's given it away so often and wasted a lot of good position. I think he is an impostor at this level. (cue him scoring a worldy for the winner)
