It's not just against bayern we do the old pass it back and long ball it trick. It's a common part of our repertoire. We rely on bad defensive headers and then pounce, well that's howvwe take advantage of weaker teams in the EPL. Boot it up 15 times and eventually the defender will make a mistake.
 
Bayern have been so poor. Mandzukic has offered them very little through the middle, except the illusion that they might score from a cross,
 
How on earth has this Bayern side scored so many goals? It's that bad I find myself wanting manyoo to progress on sheer principle.

Bayern are awful. Every time there are two passes on they choose the negative one. All manyoo have done is stay compact, and they haven't had to work particularly hard, it's just keeping concentration.

Despite all this i still suspect something is on the cards tonight. Reminds me too much of beautiful 2012!

They are playing far worse then previous round against arenal.

Watching fox coverage. Americans are surprisingly calm and offer alternative commentary, but their half time chat has some **** comedian (i think) trying to be funny.
 
If long-ball is Man Utd's long term plan, Moyes should look to buy from the championship or lower divisions. Get a cheap, strong, tall forward who can head (and do little else).

As stated above, I think Bayern are playing for 0-0.
If Man Utd score 1, then Bayern will have no choice but to go all-out attack.
I hope Man Utd score 1. I'd love it if Man Utd beat Munich (reputedly the best team in the World).
