UEFA Champions League/Europa League ** Spoilers ** [2/3/4 October 2018]

It's a bit sad I don't want us to get a last minute Fellaini winner, don't deserve it at all, papers over huge cracks. Awful.
 
Reasonable amount of effort but absolutely 0 clue how to do anything as a team. Mourinho needs to **** off ASAP and we need to try another setup without Lukaku up front.

I watched most of the Juventus game earlier and I watched an actual team play. People knew where to be, how to defend and attack as a team. They didn't need to attack with 6 guys because there was interplay, overlaps and people making runs. There weren't huge gaps between players and slow ponderous attacks that could be seen a mile off. Just highlights how **** we are really. If Juventus show up in the next game against us we will get pounded.
 
why didn't JM bung on anyone else apart from Martial, Im not a fan of Mata at all (not showing his Chelsea form in the slightest) but at least it gives the oppo something else to think about
Fellaini was a waste of space, yes we would have lost height but the amount of skill (and outright speed) we would have gained in cm with Fred coming on would have easily countered that loss

Showed a bit of character in the 2nd half but pretty ******* awful really - Shaw was easily Utd's best player (again)
 
That was a dour watch.

What's happened to the MU of old with their fast paced attacking football?

That's what happens when you only have one other team battling for the title for what the last 7 or 8 years - you get to bed in players and they can spend what they like where they like because they have time to.
 
Mourinho blaming the quality of players he has for the team lacking any plan for any of our matches.
 
So Jose starts Fellaini over Fred, has McTominay on the bench instead of Pereira and then claims we lack technical quality...

I don't think either team would have scored if they'd played another 90 mins. I'm not even convinced Guedes would have scored if we took De Gea off and left him an open goal.
