UEFA Champions League/Europa League ** Spoilers ** [24/25/26 November 2015]

Sturridge out with a knock lol

Eh source? Klopp only said yesterday he was fine in training  if he is seriously starting to think sell him and we get a striker who can last a season or even half a season!

Our team for tonight

Liverpool XI: Mignolet, Clyne, Toure, Lovren, Moreno, Lucas, Allen, Milner, Ibe, Firmino, Benteke.

Substitutes: Bogdan, Skrtel, Randall, Brannagan, Can, Lallana, Origi.

Allen best impress soon he is player who i think is poor and just doesn't really do anything for us

He's two games away from missing as many games as he's played for us and I'm beginning to wonder whether he should see a psychiatrist rather than a physiotherapist.

Looking back as much as he was in and out of other teams before us, he was also injured allot and his first full season was with us, Starting to think did the other teams know something we didnt.

He has become our Aurelio mark 2 we know he is great but he just wont ever play

Anyone else having a dilemma of whether to watch Liverpool or Celtic? Wouldn't normally be a choice but with Coutinho and co injured i can't see last weekend being replicated.

Agree fully with most of this - just think Mata has been pretty invisible majority of the last few matches he started (but should still have been given 20-30 minutes last night as a sub , rather then less than 10 last night which was pointless)

For all the flack being pointed their way from last night I think Martial and Lingard did well with the little service they got last night, they are both pretty young and inexperienced at this level so they both deserve a lot of time. Not sure about Depay at the moment, but given his age and moving from a far inferior league he deserves time too (although as a sub currently not a starter)

WTF? Allen with an awful pass back, Mignolet heads it straight back to their player, we win it back then Lucas jogs around the 6 yard box and nutmegs the outcoming attacker with a pass :o

Sturridge

At this rate they should. One of the big teams in England would still pay a stupid amount with how much money is floating around the BPL atm.

I doubt that very much given how infrequently he has played in the last ~ 2 seasons or so, just not worth the risk currently

The only teams that might take a risk is the likes of Spurs as an option if/when available to try and push for top 4 - ie direct competitors to Liverpool....who would therefore unlikely sell to them anyway.

Why risk £20-30m (depending on how long his current contract is) when he is perma injured, vs getting someone from abroad for similar amount, or blooding a youth player.

Unless he gets offered for silly money (ie sub £10m , which imo means its pointless Liverpool selling him) no one in England will touch him.

IF he was to stay fit he would be worth Stirling money if not more, but right now....

You're forgetting he's English.

Chelsea and Man.C. won't take Sturridge back so that leaves Man.u and Arsenal, I doubt either of them would entertain him now.
