Deserved that for trying to see out the game with a nothing defence. Gerrard again looked dead on his feet and still wasn't subbed.
Gerrard went up front and Lambert just disappeared, that was the most obvious sub.

Exactly. It seemed oblivious to Tyler and Smith that whether we won or draw it made absolutely no difference. We'd have still needed to beat Basel in the last game.
The most worrying thing was that it seemed to go over our players heads too. After they scored Johnson was bombing forward down the left more than he had all game.

Doesn't make a difference to the table but I'm pretty sure the players will feel like that draw is a defeat which will further hurt morale.
