People really do seem to be painfully badly effected by the commentators. The goal from Mbappe's play wasn't anywhere near as special as the commentator was banging on about. He feinted a shot, Alaba completely oversold himself, that was it, it wasn't magically foot work, he looked like he was going to shoot then didn't. Following that was either a poor pass or a terrible shot.

Mbappe had a genuinely fantastic performance, but that one moment was nothing particularly special and his ball in was poor. Alaba throwing himself to ground just made the whole thing more dramatic.
 
If PSG win the Champions League, they have literally bought it.

Talk is that FIFA are putting pressure on PSG to put a lot of players up for sale in January or they will fall foul of FFP and could face a ban from the competition.

They need to balance the books.

Also City not out of the woods either.
 
Does anyone play 3atb in Spain? It was hardly a thing before Conte but now teams in the Prem seem to do it a lot more even though it just feels like a gimmick.
