No they wouldn't, the Arsenal game was early Saturday and that would've still been on TV if it had been swapped to Sunday and the Newcastle game had to be played Saturday as we were playing away to Porto Tuesday night.
JM has long criticised the FA for not considering things like this when the fixtures are arranged so I doubt the club have much choice in the matter, I certainly doubt that the TV money comes in to it.

I'm sure the PL commented on this 2 years ago when Mourinho was moaning about playing us either side of a CL tie and it came out that Chelsea could have moved the game. Maybe I'm wrong though.

Generally speaking, maybe Chelsea's an exception this season, when you play Wednesday you then play on the Sunday though. With the EL it's always just a 2 day break.
