It felt a little like LVG played a 4-4-2 and subbed Martial to make the point that he subbed the only striker he was allowed to sub.
If LVG is picking Rooney and not dropping him, he should be fired, it's nuts. If the people above LVG are behind Rooney not being dropped, they need replacing. The logical argument is the reason not to drop Rooney is financial and you can understand(if not agree) with the board wanting him to play, there is no argument in his current form he should be playing and LVG isn't a terrible manager. It makes more sense that LVG has to play him and has no choice but managers do stupid things sometimes. Whoever is behind it... is retarded.

Depay comes on the pitch and somehow makes Rooney look better. He's fluffed every attempt to do anything so far. Take a crap corner, get it back, try to beat your man, no where near, lost the ball several times before that and he started off with a hilariously awful cross.
