UEFA Champions League/Europa League ** Spoilers ** [30 September - 01/02 October 2014]

How on earth is Melo on the pitch, and I mean that on every level. That is a clear terrible tackle, red card easily, but in the other aspect, he is a horrendous footballer, he can't pass, shoot, defend, tackle, mark and he's a walking red card. He got into a freaking world cup with Brazil.... and ruined it for them. Is he the son of like a Brazillian president or something.

I love that with every new club he moves to he gets voted worst player of the season, worst signing of the season and anything other "this guy is just **** " type awards every year. I don't understand how anyone signed him, he really is just awful. Song can pass and occasionally has a good game, below his level he can be effective though he's absolutely not suited to a top half team in any good league. But Melo... he is just in every way hopeless, and dangerous.

We were stupid enough to pay 25 million euro for him :(
 
ffs Flamini, that was such a stupid tackle. THere wasn't much pace in it but he did absolutely jump in there for no reason at all. A stupid ref could have decided that was a lunging sent him off, at 3-0 up in a nothing game.

The reason why Flamini shouldn't ever be considered first team, not good enough and gets random bookings and suspensions for almost no reason at all.

Seriously, I genuinely don't understand it, when we were being linked with him I was gobsmacked because he was simply rubbish. I'm sure like any player there will be one game he was great because that is how sport goes. Sometimes everything just falls for you, average performance... he's just dreadful. I can't understand how he hasn't been laughed out of football but far from that people keep throwing money at clubs to buy him and throwing wages at him to be ****.
 
Yet again baloteli work rate is there getting stuck in etc and some reason carragher saying it's low etc yet markovic another game of doing nothing doesn't get a mention

Erm meh? We look no threat again, baloteli only gets ball if he wins it himself, sterling has been quite really. Markovic none existent we also miss moreno dangerous runs, I can see him and lallana coming on soon
