I mean the Real downfall has been pretty damn quick, 18 months were amazing with Zidane but, I've always maintained the same view on managing, short term a manager can easily fix a few problems with previous training/tactical management bolstering something missing from the new manager but after 12-18 months it starts to fall apart a bit.
Honestly from Real's simple energy levels in this and other games, how lazy they are being, maybe it's a case of heavy technical training and very little fitness training but due to condition of team when he took over it was a great blend for 18 months but now the team is quickly tired not long into the season and playing poorly.
Ronaldo one of the only ones to be making runs all game and trying hard, everyone else looks knackered and crazy and Ronaldo is that one guy who kills himself training long after everyone else has gone home.
That is what's so impressive about Poch, he seems to be one of the few complete managers, as Fergie was and not many others. he improved the offence, the defence, the tactics, the systems, the fitness, the mentality and the adaptability of their players. Coming in and fixing an offence with an existing great defence/fitness is one thing, coming in and fixing or improving everything and maintaining it after a few season is a different thing altogether.
