UEFA Champions League/Europa League ** Spoilers ** [4th - 6th November 2014]

That one looked every bit a pen to me, the first one looks a dive but I can't see how the ref has booked him because frankly he couldn't have seen it. Like that one looked stonewall and he did nothing.

The fernandinho red... I only saw it real time and one replay from the side. It looks to me like he doesn't change position just turns around to watch the ball and the guy just ran straight into him on purpose. Likewise they had a guy who should have gotten a second yellow and instead the ref randomly booked another guy, who even said it was the other player(he didn't realise it would be a second and would have been funny).

Ref has seemed dodgy as hell from the incidents I've seen.

Well he got the first call right :D

Fernandinho turned his back and knew he'd block him, the guy ran into it as expected, don't really think its a booking but he meant it.

Yaya rightly sent off, should've been sent off a few minutes before, Nasri should've been sent off too and wasn't. Just seemed like a crap ref
 
Interesting listening to City fans pre game last night on TalkSport. Going on about UEFA's agenda against City. It's unfair that they have got Bayern so many times recently and the pots are rigged. As my blue nose mate said last night, it matters not about a rigged pot if you cant beat CSKA Moscow.

Unfortunately for them, they still have a very small club mentality and in games like last night, it really shows

So what's our excuse for Sunday? Just terrible at football?
 
City were shocking last night. Atmosphere was bizarre with no away fans. I've grown to really enjoy European nights irrespective of results just for the crazy foreigners. Last night was turd though.

Ref didn't help but we only have ourselves to blame. We're far too laboured going forward. Navas at one point had actually got past his man and had clean grass to run in to for a quick break, only to slow down, get caught by the full back, turn inside and pass it back to Kompany. I lost my mind at that point. Why we can't attack with pace and actually try going past a man once in a while is beyond me.

The number of times we got the ball into good (not great) positions only for a player to turn and knock it backwards/sideways was astonishing. It's as though they've been drilled to wait for the stars to align before trying to get the ball into a dangerous position.

Europe or not why do you feel the need to criticise other teams, especially when we just lost to the team you're criticising in a competition we didn't qualify for.

It's just low.

if you were that critical about the team you support instead of trying to disagree with me maybe you'd get some hespec.

People are allowed to be critical of other teams (as well as their own, you're the expert there).
