We made a load of mistakes defensively earlier in the season but we're far better in that department now and our attack has been consistently woeful.
Last night was possibly our best performance so far and it's no coincidence that Fabregas was dropped then that happens.

That was the best performance of the season and he certainly wasn't missed. The team played as one, lots of character and attacking flare, I just hope that we don't splutter again on Monday night.

Loved the support shown for Jose. :cool:
 
Absolute fantastic achievement from Arsenal, everyone had completely written them off after two loses and then facing two games against Bayern.
Pulled it out of the bag and back into the Champs league knock out stage. Just have to see who we get drawn against next and go from there!

Glad to see 3 out of the 4 clubs progress through, again everyone being so pessimistic after the first European night.
 
I kind of fancied Arsenal to go through. At the end of the day those teams were nothing special and Arsenal were more than good enough to beat them if they showed up.

Problem was they took those teams for granted earlier on and were complacent.
 
Hernandez seems to be doing well at Leverkusen, i wonder if LvG is regretting letting him go without even giving him a chance.

Playing Ospina probably had something to do with it as well, Cech is a proper dictator at the back..much more commanding.

All the fans were saying not to get rid as well, bizarre decision really.
 
Yeah i remember all of you lot were in favour of keeping him, but to send him out on loan and keep Wilson, Odd. You'd of assumed Wilson would be the one to get a bit more experience playing out on loan.
