UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL ... Bayern Munich v Chelsea ... *** Spoilers ***

I just hope Drogba turns up!

this is the sort of game drogba love's, and iirc either 1 or both of there central defender(s) arn't first choice, "robbie" will be feeding him raw meat before the game to get him in the mood to give them merry hell :D.

good luck to the people going, hope you have a good night :D.

Anyone watching Sky's preview show at the moment? So far Gary Neville is just standing there like a plum while we get the words of wisdom from Redknapp instead who firstly thinks Bayern have the best set of wingers in the football (personally I'd take Nani and Valencia over Robben and Ribery every day of the week but that's just my opinion) and that Bertrand should start for Chelsea (he's never played a champions league game before)

Not sure I agree on the first point, but Bertrand. :o What a muppet.

I hate that a club can have home advantage, it should be moved to a back up when this happens.

Chelsea aren't a team I have warmed to since Vialli was there but I really hope they can get the job done tomorrow for Fat frank who deserves it for his consistency over the years. Also that Terry would miss out is a bonus.

It would also be fun to see how they move RDM aside if he wins the CL :)

I think you might find yourself in a minority of one on that first point :p

Hope Chelsea can do the job, it was harsh how they lost the last final and also it would be lolworthy for them to put Spurs into the Europa - as if the CL wasn't a big enough incentive on its own :p

Really? It's not like we're talking Ronaldo and Messi here we're talking about an injury prone winger deemed surplus to requirements at both Chelsea and Real and another who just from my personal point of view has never done anything even remotely impressive anytime I've seen him.

Robben obviously on his day is capable of the world class but I've just not seen it from Ribery and the problem with the former is not just his fitness but his attitude (iirc it was only the other month people were speculating that Bayern would try and get rid this summer).

I'm still of the opinion Chelsea will walk this final....

Tbf though 17 goals + 15 assists and 18 goals and 6 assists for Ribery and Robben respectively this season would suggest that they are pretty decent players :p

To be fair to you actually it's probably closer than I made out, they are probably all around the same level talent-wise, though I still feel that the two R's probably edge it but then equally Ribery and Robben are 4-5 years older than Nani and Valencia so maybe it's just because they've been around a bit longer and have a little more pedigree. Doesn't Nani have a bit of an attitude history (though he seems fine now)?

I'm gonna go 2-1 Chelsea, Drogba and Lampard with Robben getting one near the end to make things nervy
