If you had to predict how we'd lose the game, that would probably be exactly it - individual errors and moments of genius from Real. Our lack of depth in attack and ability to make stupid mistakes at the back was the difference. Hopefully we're going to see some ruthlessness from the club in the summer - Karius should never play for us again (that's not just on today but it was the final straw) and we desperately need cover for our front 3.

Gutted but I hope the select few Mancs, bitters and Arsenal supporters enjoy their season defining game.

Even after his heoics tonight I still wouldn't touch Bale with a bargepole in the summer - insane wages + almighty transfer fee with his injury record , knowing Man Utd's luck he would only be fit enough to play on the windy/ rainy nights in Stoke (yeah I know they were relegated but still )


Karius made some really bad errors - but I would have bet on Mignolet making similar (and not to mention the effect it has on the defence changing your gk at the last minute)
