Explain why lampard has scored more goals than all of them then?

seeing as you're judging him as an attacking midfielder

I can assure you his assists will probably be higher than most if not all the names you listed above.

Thats because he plays in a very good midfield, if you put Kaka or Gerrard in his postition, **** me they'd destroy teams.
 
Something to mention from last night, and in general. Dani Alves is over rated, he's alright going forward but even then he's not super effective, and he isn't a good defender.
 
Lampard is one of the most complete attacking midfielders in the world. A bit like Scholes in the sense that only club fans truly appreciate how much quality they really are. When Chelsea were going through their slump near the start of the season, there was one man pulling them through it all and that was Lampard. And Gerrard doesn't play in front of a good midfield? haha Alonso and Mascherano with Torres ahead of him? Gerrard has it good.

Someone finally talking some sense.

Lampard has had to play with Deco, Ballack, Malouda and Kalou who have all been pretty poor this season. Kalou has been the best of the 4...

Our two other best midfielders (joe cole and essien) have been out most of the season.

Ballack and Deco are past it ! :p

Only went to Chelski for a pay day ;)

Kalou, shouldn't be in the Chelski team.
Malouda should look for another job, Joe Cole is miles better imo.

Since when is number of goals a judge of a players quality? Kevin Davies has scored as many goals as Rooney this season, does that mean they are the same quality level? Chelsea really play in a way that is designed around Lampard scoring. As I said, his record is fantastic, it doesn't mean that he is as skilled as those other players, or that he would be chosen above them in a World 11.

So you're proving my point that Lampard's work isn't completely down to the 'brilliant' players around him by listing all the crap players we've been playing consistently this season.

That wasn't the point I was making. On the top of their game, there isn't much in it with regards to how important they are to their club. They are all world class. My personal preference would be Kaka but that's down to how he plays.

Gerrard > Lampard.

Lampard isn't a World Class midfielder, sorry he's just a very good midfielder.

And while I say Ballack is past it, he's still a very good midfielder, Essien is a beast, Mikel is a good midfielder.

Lampard wouldn't get near my starting 11, He's a good player, I doubt he'd even be in my Premiership 11.
 
So i back up my point with statistics and you just give me your opinion?
