This is some drama in the Leipzig v Juve game.
Goalie gets sent off for handball outside the box. The following free kicks hits a defender's hand and they gave away a penalty. Down to 2-1 with 10 men, 25mins to go they managed to score 2 great goals to win.

So proud of the lads last night. People will just chalk it up to parking the bus and nicking a goal last minute, but anyone who actually watches Football will know it's never as easy as that. Several star performances, even outside the obvious, but Konsa for me is the standout. One of the most consistent defenders in the league, has been for a few years now.

I couldn't care less, a win is a win. Looking at the stats, I didn't actually think we played that badly! Every single player on the pitch was outstanding last night, not a single bad performance. Classic Villa to draw 2-2 with Ipswich then go and beat Bayern!
Took me ages to get to sleep last night. Never did I think we'd be at the heights we're at now. I support villa because my grandad did and he died in 2019 while watching the footy. We were in the championship at the time! He'd have the biggest smile on his face if he saw that score from last night, whenever I visited I'd stick a VHS tape on of Villa as he collected loads of them. First one I ever watched was the 1982 final and I fell in love with the club. Boy did we do him proud last night.

Similair but not so heartwarming story. My Grandad was never huge into football but wanted my dad and uncle to be sporty. He took them to St Andrews religiously for three years until the day their own fans started bottling each other and my uncle got hurt. He never went back and decided their and then to be a Villa fan for life.

So what do we think about tonight then? id love to have the positiveness but I think Porto can be a tricky one.
Id like to see us making it difficult for teams to score against us that would be a nice start after the shower of crap at the back of late.
