I'm sure that he was thinking of bale when he's just scored a stunner on the opening day of the euro's.
It's all about the money with the English and complete lack of talent.

Pav was always good for Spurs, till he became clearly not first team, ignored, no match fitness, etc, etc. Same goes for Arshavin, he was one of our best 3-4 players, WELL ahead of Nasri, when we arbitrarily benched him from pretty much xmas onwards. After 6 months of barely playing properly and 6 months before he went out on loan also being barely used. Wenger, and most of the Arsenal fans told him he had no place at Arsenal, he wasn't part of the team and he'd only be used in an emergency, at which point he started playing like that.
When he was first team, he was excellent for us, in the past 18 months since Wenger has made it clear he doesn't want to play him, he's played like the club doesn't want him to play. While all the time playing great for the teams that make it clear they do want him, not much of a coincidence.
Always rated Pav, always rated Arshavin, both clubs stupid to misuse them.

Ohh really? Haven't seen Pav score in such a long while I didn't realise it was his celebration in the first place..
Considering Bale is one of the best wingers in the world and is one of the most valued members of the Spurs team, it's possible..
What about players like Gerrard? You can't blame that on a lack of talent, one of the best midfielders in the world in a Liverpool shirt, average at best in an England shirt.. Same with Lampard, Rooney etc.

I always liked Pavlyuchenko, he is one of those players who can just do something out of nothing at anytime...though you wouldn't necessarily want to rely on him.
A month or two ago I put a tenner on Pogrebnyak for top scorer
and this was the problem. at times, his finishing was top draw and he made it look effortless, whereas the week after he looked like he couldn't be bothered and couldn't hit a barn door.
i always remember his goal that relegated birmingham, he made it look like he was on the training ground he was so ccc.
shame we never gave him the shot he deserved and he essentially wasted his best years with us.
