I wasn't referring to your posts, ones like this are silly though imo. Seems wrong to blame the side who flooded men forwards and were positive, when the team who made the game like that were France, who were negative, cowardly and poor on the ball. If France played further up and tried to play then it would have been more even. What more can Spain do if they're playing against a team with 11 men behind the ball?

Yup. He has to perform some of his magic tonight. It is really now or never. We can do it tonight but keeping a cool head will be absolutely essential. This will be a harder test than Germany, who I feel we can beat. So lets go out tonight and show how to do it!

Whatever the result tonight England's tournament is pretty much over. Lose and we're out, or win and we set up a game in which Germany will batter us. Seems a bit pessimistic, but I don't see any way England would beat them. Germany's midfield is far superior to ours and they play a lot more direct than Spain. They'll walk all over Gerrard and Parker.
