UEFA Euro 2012 - Semi-finals - ** spoilers **

Alves' penalty would have been fantastic if it was an inch lower and Fabregas' would haven't have been unsaveable if it was a couple of inches to the right yet "Alves didn't look comfortable blah blah blah".

Annoys the hell out of me, they'd have been prasing his incredible penalty if it went in.
 
Tbf it would be pretty comedy if Spain won the Euros without playing a recognised striker in any of the games :p

I'd argue that whilst you want a good taker for your first you want your BEST for the 4th and 5th as they're typically the real pressure shots. I reckon saving Ronaldo for the end was the right thing to do.

They hate Spain because they seem incapable of putting 4 past teams at will anymore :p

Partly because of injuries, partly due to odd selections and partly due to the opposition working harder to contain them.

Spain are boring to be honest, full of 1-0 wins in the World Cup and much the same in the Euros if you take away the dire Ireland performance. At least Germany tend to smash teams 3/4-0/1, even if it is England :p.
 
I find Spain a little boring, but I also love their outstanding technique and confidence on the ball, and outright brutalness in getting games won. I hope Germany beat Italy tomorrow, and look forward to the best 2 teams in Europe battling it out in the final.
 
But theyre technically brilliant, granted they've been disapointing this tournament but still got to the final. They play their way and win, to hate them is just stupid.

It's frustrating to watch when Alba crosses and there is no striker so please play a striker in the final. I imagine Cesc will get the nod again

I dont hate them, just found their style in this tournament to be boring to watch as a spectacle (not playing a ST just added to the pass pass tactics), as truly evil as the Germans are, they actually play a style of football Id like to watch, them being German unfortunately just doesnt come into it :p

Spain only go striker less because Torres is (still) in no real form, and doesn't contribute enough to the overall play to make up for this loss in form in other ways.

And Villa is injured, Pedro didn't have a good year (and not really a Striker but more like one then others at least).
 
Ronaldo, what a waste. Utter coward, if he took his penalty and didnt let that nervous wreck take it they might have been in the final now.

Shows his true colours.
