I would have swapped Kane for Vardy. Kane was completely anonymous in the Russian game and I though Vardy would have caused them more problems with his pace and aggression.

Wales have literally one player that would get in the England team.

I picked 2 in my combined 11 on the BBC picker thing. Bale and Williams in the first 11 and I think Davies would be in the squad too.

Watching the analysis of the Russian right back absolutely run the arse off Sterling makes me even more convinced we wont see him again this tournament. It would be fine if rest of England played woefully but he doesnt have anyone to really hide behind...

Shocking defence there from the Russians. The two defenders going with the man just run past him and the two backing them up give up twenty yards out and simply jogging in to watch the goal go in.

A great ball to start the move but the Russian defence should have done better.

I thought England's performance on Saturday was good and that everyone was over-reacting because of the late equaliser... but looking at how poor Russia are today it's rather putting the performance into perspective.
