UEFA Euro 2016 Group B ** spoilers** (England, Slovakia, Russia, Wales)

I don't mind Walker being rested as Clyne isn't too different, but we'll miss Rose and (and this can't have been said to often in the past few years) Rooney.

Not sure Rose will be too much of a miss Bertrand is a very very good player in that role. That being said I think making that many changes is stupid winning the group massively improves our chances of progress finishing third and facing Germany next up doesn't!

New lineup is similar to the players I would have started the tournament with (though I still think 2 up top suits us better), though Walker for Clyne and Rooney for Henderson. Kane would have been in there but I wouldnt be surprised hes out of sorts with the amount of games hes played this season.

I cant object to the players hes taken off as they probably do need to be rested and its not like we dont have a strong squad. Hopefully the ones coming on think its their time to shine and play out of their skins - tonights match is a must win for Slovakia.

Sterling honestly need to book a flight home now...

Its surprising he's making so many changes when we could still finish 3rd if we get beat tonight, Slovakia didnt look like mugs against Wales either, they were just poor 1st half. Really hope this doesnt come back to bite Hodgson in the butt. Betrand, Clyne, Wilshere, Hendo, Vardy and Studge are all excellent players, they should get the job done to be fair.

I don't like the sound of six changes for England, I would rather we started with the 11 that finished the game against Wales.

I hope Wales do enough tonight to make it to the knockout phase, which looks pretty certain as long as they don't lose.

Even if we finish 3rd we're very likely to make it through to the knockout stages as one of the best 3rd places.

I realise that, but there is a huge difference who we'll get if we finish 1st or 3rd, yes, we theoretically have to be able to beat everyone if we want to win it but the emotional and physical drain of having to play top sides in the last 16 all the way through to the final is far worse than potentially getting a top side in the semi finals.

Yeah, that's fair.

I like the idea of starting with a different line up, gives us a chance to pick all the in form players, just hope it doesn't back fire.

I think this is risky but it's still a very good side, in some respects it's an improvement (no Sterling).

Going to be interesting...

Hate changing the team round personally. Don't get enough match time together as it is.

Rest a player when needed fair enough but too late in the day for wholesale changes imo...
