UEFA Euro 2016 Group B ** spoilers** (England, Slovakia, Russia, Wales)

A few times where the def has had the ball in the centre circle in the last few mins and theres just zero movement ahead of them - Vardy had to run out of the box just to give them an option

The tempos hot high, the temperature isnt boiling - no excuses not to offer a passing option.

England are struggling to hold onto the ball in front of the centre circle.

So they go backwards or try and go down the right, where Clyne has been good.

Nothing has been happening down the left side and trying too much to dribble into the box.

Some openings though (more than previous games), but playing like this won't work against decent sides.

How many crosses has Henderson over hit? And Wilshere looks like a player who managed 2 games last season can't even pass to his own team, why are they on the pitch we need to win!

Instead of snappy passing, just standing on the ball too much making useless dribbles.

Clyne has been good though.

reminds me of Utd last season

A lot of ball domination but very slow build up allowing players to get back en mass and put blocks in

England may well have created chances, but how many were actually good chances (the Vardy one right at the gk - maybe? not any others really)

Can see them scoring on the break at some point

Wheelchair keeps on giving the ball away really cheaply

First half thoughts:

- Wilshire doesn't look match fit to me (I know he's not). Rooney will be on for him before long.
- Dier is like a younger Alonso at the moment. Really like him.
- Lallana's been eating duracell bunnies.
- Sturridge is obviously skillful but sometimes tries to do too much.
- Walker and Rose still first choice fullbacks for me but Clyne and Betrand are capable undertstudies (Clyne more so imo).
- Vardy works bloody hard.
- Can we find a player capable of taking an adequate corner or cross-free-kick?! Henderson has been awful at these.

Pretty happy with the first half but we're still lacking the needed edge and there's a hint of fragility in our defence. Wales meanwhile are showing what we should have done to Russia.

I'm pretty confident we'll win this.

Only Vardy of the new introductions that has made his case to stay/start in the team

LOL ghost Sterling and ghost Walker probably have them automatically ignore the left and play via the right. I havent seen Betrand have a touch within an attacking move...

I must be watching a different game re Henderson. Brilliant pass for Vardy. Has been involved in all of our key chances, tracked back and been solid in possession. I mean the set pieces have been poor but thats it.
