UEFA Euro 2016 Group E ** spoilers** (Belgium, Italy, Republic of Ireland, Sweden)

I bet on Belgium to win the World Cup 2014, I've bet on them to win the Euros and I can quite happily say I will not be betting on them to win in 2020. :p Terrible.
 
Great finish! Entirely deserved as well. Belgium have missed so many chances and generally played very poorly. I don't even know what kind of football Belgium are trying to play with their team selection.

One would think they don't have a manager the way they played, plus they didn't show one either :p
 
Well done Italy, fully deserved - I cant think of a decent chance created by Belgium at all (maybe the single chance where Lukaku didn't split the defenders)

Belgium aren't a team, Hazard tried but you can tell he hasn't had a great season and the rest were very average (apart from Cortoius who didn't really need to play well with two very good goals he didn't stand a chance with and a "TV" save)


Have to admit I really wish they could punish professional fouls a lot harder (like you miss the next game automatically), but that's a part of the game and the Italians played it to perfection
 
Master class in defending by the Italians. It's so important in knockout competitions.

It just shows how far England are off the pace.
 
Belgium created quite a few chances Frank, they just cocked them all up. Origin missed a few and the ball didn't fall quite right a few times. Another day they might have got a draw but they really didn't deserve anything.

Enjoyable match and fantastic everything from Italy. Passing (esp 1st half) was clinical and precise, and defending like you don't see from any other team.

Bloomin' good show.

Belgium showed themselves to be the over-hyped pretenders they've always been. Frankly, I can't get behind any team with Fellaini and Hazard in. Both incredibly annoying in their own way :p

This might be setting myself up here, but IMO this is the wrong type of game altogether for Ibra. A slow but strong and experienced defence hardly plays to his strengths.
 
Italy very impressive in the first game, Sweden unimpressive. I'm kind of expecting an upset here.

Sweden do often seem to get draws against the better teams too.
