UEFA Euro 2016 - Group Stage TV Guide/Schedule/Info/ - Tournament Chat

The thing I always love about these tournaments is how gorgeous and lush the grass is.

Louis saha and Marion Bartoli acting as though they're on Saturday morning kids TV

She has fairly lost a lot of weight. I thought the criticism didn't bother her about it?

I was going to post up the England bingo last night but forgot. Looks like they've started without me :D

Something along the lines of :-

England fans smashing up the place

England 'expected' to win

During an England match commentators talking that it is England's 'right' to win it this year

During any other match England to get mentioned

1966

Then one England go out, England would have beaten the team which is getting beat by whoever is in the next round.

Nauseating for any other home nation watching the Euros in the UK.

I forgot about whistling the opposition's national anthem :(

UEFA are charging Russia but not England after last night, the right thing to do.

Probably award them another World Cup as punishment.

Marseille fans are radge as **** so wouldn't be surprised if they instigated.

French hooligans have attacked NI fans:

There were also clashes in Nice, where Northern Ireland fans clashed with locals ahead of their match against Poland.

According to a Northern Ireland police officer accompanying fans at the scene, French riot police moved in after local youths hurled bottles at Northern Ireland supporters in cafes near the central Place Massena.

"About 20 to 30 Nice youths started throwing bottles at the Northern Ireland fans. Some bottles were thrown back, some punches were thrown," the officer said.

"French police arrived to contain the situation."

It's getting out of hand now.

The worrying thing is how they got rockets into the ground. Apparently two were fired across the pitched. Whatever went off towards the end of the match was very loud on the TV and lots of people though that another terrorist incident had started.

You would have thought that ground security was up to scratch but it appears not. That must be a great worry for the rest of the tournament. :(

It's almost advertising the lack of security to whatever extremists are out there :(

I genuinely thought all this (on the whole) had been eradicated from football.

From Twitter, Phil McNulty, Chief football writer, BBC Sport website:

Uefa issues a clear warning that England & Russia could be kicked out of Euro 2016 should there be a repeat of violent scenes in Marseille.

Uefa Executive Committee warns associations in a statement about "potential disqualification of their respective teams from the tournament"

...should such violence occur again." Wants FA & RFU "to appeal to their supporters to behave in a responsible and respectful manner."

Yep, everything I have read/seen points to Russian/French Ultra groups looking for a fight and not just with the English (yet we have been the most targeted so far most likely down to our history and thankfully for the most part it is history for us now).

Yet Uefa even though we haven't been charged with anything that happened in the stadium (rightly so) are now threaten us in the same vein as the Russians and haven't mentioned the French Ultras or lack of policing, other then the "we shall look into the lack of police/segregation in the stadium", something that shouldn't ever be a problem in the modern game (not like this is the first ever Euros match....).
