19yr old played 53 minutes in total and already trying to write him off lol. No wonder England players can never flourish anymore.
I'm sure my comments on here will truly hamper him becoming the next England legend.
He's young in his first season in a top league. That is first season in front of huge crowds. You give younger players games like this because they will often be terrified and overawed at the occasion.
Is this his first start at Wembley, against far stronger opposition and lets be honest this isn't a remotely normal game. This is an emotionally charged post terrorist attack game. He's 19 and you'd find a hardened 30 year old maybe struggling today.
I wouldn't judge anyone on their performance today frankly let alone laying into a 19yr old kid in a tough game.
