UEFA EURO 2016 Qualifiers and International Friendlies ** spoilers ** [3rd - 9th September 2014]

I think we've been reasonably comfortable so far. Should be ahead but going forward pretty well. Just need that goal to settle us down (or as is usually the case, make us crumble and try to woefully defend it) - entertaining game on the whole.
 
Rooney is about the only one who looks like doing something for us. Had no a decent game. Disappointed in Switzerland. I know they aren't the most attacking team in the world but they are looking very poor going forward.
 
I thought Jones has been quite good actually, not a bad start to the season for him. Shame the same can't be said for most of the England team. Definitely lacking any real midfield/midfielders
 
Not a bad save that but Jones really needs to be scoring. Totally free header about 10 yards out ... JT puts that in 9 times out of 10.

But then JT is a (still) considerably better player than Jones.

Wilshere needs to come off, i've lost count of the number of times he's given the ball away. There was a 5 minute spell where he had the ball 4 times, gave it away 4 times. Simply not good enough.
 
Delph looks out of his depth (there's a pun there but cba) he's a red card waiting to happen, there's no width with this formation so Henderson is in no man's land he should be central, Wilshire needs to get rid if this annoying habit he's developed of hanging onto the ball for that fraction too long and inviting tackles in, he's not suited to playing this deep
 
Sterling seems to have forgotten how to shoot!... He did this against city, kept passing to the keeper and getting really weak shots away whenever he got in to a dangerous position.

It just looks like every team England face have better overall technique. Passing, controlling the ball etc, English player just seem so average for what they are supposed to be.
