Watching the France Vs ROI match and something the commentator said made me wonder.

How do people know their team are going to be in a certain match after the group stages, are tickets only put up for sale at the last minute or do people have to chance it? Can't imagine many would be able to get a day off at such short notice.

You buy conditional tickets.

For example, there are tickets for the final which you only get if your team gets there.

Another thing that occured to me is as that from a French perspective Mangala would be an excellent replacement given he will be facing EPL players , Rami looks like a calamity waiting to happen and is a pain he misses the 1/4's if they both get there
