UEFA Euro 2016 - Round of 16 **spoilers** (25th - 27th June)

I said at the time i'd have dropped Hart after the Wales game.

He was in no mans land for the Russia goal, huge fluff for the Wales goal and now a massive fluff for Icelands second. He needed to be dropped.

Ah, more over-rated and under performing England players.

It's an absolute disgrace that this lot have dominated the sports pages recently and Englands fantastic rugby team barely got a mention.

As has already been mentioned...Rugby is awful. Go to a rugby forum.

Everyone has been poor so it's hard to single people out, but Sturridge and Kane have been doing nothing. Sterling hasn't done much either.

Sterling in his defence hasn't done too badly, did well for the penalty although the pass made it and shown bits and pieces.

What I want from a striker is the feeling that if the ball gets near them, they'll stick it in the back of net. I don't get that feeling from Sterling. He just never really looks likely to score, and a glance at his record for England confirms that. 2 goals in 25 appearances and he has never once scored against quality opposition; that's simply not good enough for a striker.

...ok but Sterling isnt a striker.

The problems here isnt up front...its the defence

I think i'm probably his biggest critic on here so you won't see me ever saying he should be in the team. If it was up to me he wouldn't even be in the squad. He's obviously played out wide for England mind.

Hodgson has crippled us ever since being in charge. He did it in 2012, he did it in 2014 and he's done it in this tournament.

Worst manager since Taylor, no doubt about it.

Rooney didn't even try to attack the ball for their first goal.

Nothing to do with it, they're clearly trained for that kind of set piece you won;t always win the first ball, especially with the height advantage. Goalkeeper and Defence not clearing up the second ball is the problem
