This is what happens when the team aren't as good as we're led to believe, 1 lucky run to the semi final of a tournament and everyone thinks we have a world beating squad.
 
That’s the worst half from England I’ve watched in quite a while, we’ve been a distant second best.
 
What a terrible 45 minutes that was, thank god Masterchef is on so I don't have to watch the 2nd half.

The players look like they've not seen each other before and don't seem able to pass to each other.
 
We are suffering from the same area as the world cup - our midfield is poor. Chemistry between the front three is visibly developing but the protection, dynamism and distribution from the midfield is deficient
 
We deserve that, absolutely horrific result and performance against basically a pub team.

I swear Rashford thinks he is playing a game of my Little Dressage Pony rather than a game of football
 
I really don't think southgate has advanced England in his time as England manager at all

he still picks a GK that's always likely to make an error when there are better keepers in the squad IMO

the world cup flattered him massively at end of the day we had a very easy route to the semis and even then we had to win on panalties to get there when we should have been winning the games in 90 minutes.

Hes also far too slow to change things during the game

Would be a blessing if poch leaves spurs and southgate takes his place

Two of their players unmarked in the box, three of our defenders chasing the ball and one just running towards the goal - what!!!???
My sons U8 5-a-side team defend better than this
 
Keane is nowhere near good enough, neither is Rose so that’s two that shouldn’t be anywhere near the team when everyone is fit. Never been a fan of playing two deep midfielders either, Southgate should’ve dropped that idea years ago.
