Rangnick ridiculed by sections of the UK press, including some of the United specialists from the Athletic, seems misguided. I liked what he said about United when he was there and would have liked him as DoF. I'm therefore very pleased for him and his Austrian team - no real stars but technically decent enough, well drilled and clearly motivated to play for their country. I'd swap Sabitzer for McTominay also

That was a good game and Austria played well and deserved the win. Is it just me or was the Gakpo goal a carbon copy of the goal he scored against Man Utd (7-0)?

Very different jobs unfortunately. Managing one of the biggest sides in the world is as much about motivation and ego management as it is coaching. I imagine that Rangnick rubbed a lot of the United players up the wrong way when he didn't pretend they were world class.
