Did Jill Scott and Jo Cole watch a different game to the rest of us? Not sure what's worse the England football teams performance or the performance of the England C4 pundits?
Not sure how this was scheduled but it would have been better for us to have that friendly game against Scotland first then have the competitive game against Ukraine.

There’s 5 million reasons he won’t resign, unfortunately. Should have been long gone many years ago. Lucky results and easy runs in tournaments have kept him in a job

I don’t get the tactics or the team (or squad selection tbf). With the amount of talent and strength. Just go for it. Going to win the group anyway.

That was dire stuff, the single moment of quality from Kane aside it was the usual dross served up from Southgate. Nothing changes.
Neither does Southgate.

Germany are very poor at the moment. To be honest a lot of the traditional big nations in Europe don't seem to be particularly great at the moment. The next few years are England's best chance to win a tournament with the squad that they have. However they need a manager who is of similar quality. Southgate hasn't a clue.
