Savage actually just summed up the events leading to the goal quite well for him. We'd beaten the press but then Pogba had his pass cut out, DeGea then gives it straight to them and Cavani gives the free kick away.Classic case of pressing creating the mistake and our inability to defend set pieces. However Lindelof is trash and has been most of the season.

Not sure I agree. We have struggled massively against any team that defends deep and well. Our complete lack of shape, practiced movement and synergy between players mean we just stroke the ball around the front of the opposition in games like this.
This is the sort of game that exposes how badly coached we are. Liverpool and City would be pulling them around, making space, making overlapping runs, playing triangles in the space. We are walking around in front of them and going backwards as soon as they apply any defensive pressure.

You cannot blame United for it though. They had their tactics and it has worked. It is up to us to find the key to that bus.
