Is it? Second half was dull.

Plus they didn't try and shoehorn both Foden and Bellingham in.

Don't think you can read much into that game against a very poor Irish team and second half was very boring, need to play decent opposition to judge better and England ain't gonna be playing anyone decent for a while

1st half was decent, good runs and crisp passing but the 2nd half they sat back and it was like Southgate hadn't left, couple of 'nearly' moments when fannying around with at the back as well

It felt like they decided scoring more goals would upset the Irish more so they just sat back.

Yep second half boring. Not really a test to see if England are playing differently or not. Time will tell. Has there been a timeline set for new manager?
