Its easy to forget how fragile the Spanish water makes you when you live there too long. It really detracts from the great football Barca and Real play.
 
I remember writing in the CL Final thread that both sides were on a dfferent planet to anything we see in the EPL so to expect this transitional Unite side to compete with the CL winners 3/4 last years is ambitious. This is all about game time ahead of Sunday and a good reality check for the CL campaign ahead.

Yeah but, it's like you'd still think that our team would be able to pass a ball to each other.
 
Love Modric as a player. I genuinely think RM are going to struggle when he retires.

Well they are playing against one of the greatest club sides in recent history, none of whom seem to have less than 3 years experience in the side. Its a good test/puzzle for Mourinho and United to solve. Matic already looks like a worthy replacement for Carrick

Yes but that doesn't explain what BT Sport have literally just showed everyone. Some of the decision making from key players has been woeful. Lukaku going for that ball wasn't anything to do with Madrid...it was just thick.
 
We are struggling in the middle of the pitch. Whenever they get the ball they have so much space right in the centre and they just swarm forwards.
 
I mean come on. I saw that move coming a mile off and the defence did what they did for the first goal and just completely missed everything. We are prone to bad defending but this is just embarrassing.
