Girlfriend wants some of these for her birthday, i've found the pair she wants but the prices vary from £60-£210 ... I don't want to get her fakes so does anyone know an official site to get these from?

Don't think OcUK sells girly boots mate. I think you are safe on the competitor fore-front. :D
 
I ended up getting a pair for the Mrs from Australia directly, gave up trying to find a pair online what I could trust and there wasn't a lot in it price wise. Think I paid about £170.
 
I was looking for some of these for my girlfriend recently, there are a LOT of fakes around, any sites with 'ugg boots' or 'ugg' in the title besides uggaustralia are fakes, go on the ugg website for a list of genuine UK dealers.

Also, they're a rip off :)

Yeah, im in the same boat. She wants "Women's Bailey Button Triplet - Chocolate" ones, what was the shipping time mate?
 
Ironically the fake ones are real and the official ones are fake.

The official 'Ugg Australia' ones that girls seem obsessed with are actually made in China. There are numerous other non 'Ugg Australia' ones actually made IN Australia, but apparently these are not 'the right ones'.

I kinda wish I'd known this before I toured every ugg shop on the east coast of Australia looking for genuine ones and not trusting shop owners who kept telling me they dont sell the genuine ones as they are not Australian made.

So the ones ive been looking at on one website are priced up at £60 but on another (and one of these is listed as an official online retailer) are £190+ are fake?

Ooo, now you're asking. I ordered them on Weds 25th November last year, they shipped on Mon 30th and they were here in time for my Christmas holiday which I think started on the 18th.

Might be pushing it a bit... :(

Edit - Oh and they were $149.99 + $10 shipping (AUS).
 
Does it matter if they are fake as long as they look the same? They'll be out of fashion before they fall apart.
 
No, it's just my way of phrasing it. The ones for £190 on official retailer websites are 'genuine' Ugg boots and probably what your girlfriend wants.

It's just ironic that they are actually made in China - and there are numerous other companies making Ugg boots actually IN Australia, but these are not made by 'Ugg Australia' and therefore apparently 'not cool' :rolleyes:
