There has to be a red line drawn somewhere, I understand the reason why NATO wont get involved, but wouldn't the Nuclear Airborne Particles hit NATO countries like Poland?

Trump is in fine form today. This is how he responded to a question about the war in Ukraine.

Donald Trump said “the windmills don’t work” as he gave a rambling and incoherent answer to a question about how Vladimir Putin’s war with Ukraine could escalate.

“Well, and I said this a long time ago, if this happens, we are playing right into their hands,” the former president told the Full Send podcast, hosted by YouTubers.

He had been asked what he envisaged “happening next” and “how does this all end” by Nelk Boys, a Canadian You Tube channel, founder Kyle Forgeard as the conflict raged in Ukraine.

“The windmills don’t work,” Mr Trump added. “They’re too expensive. They kill all the birds. They ruin your landscapes.”

“And yet the environmentalists love the windmills,” he went on. “And I’ve been preaching this for years.

I'm talking about chemical rather than nuclear. I don't know if drifting particles would be sufficient cause to justify intervention by neighbouring countries. There's so much about this war that's just too unpredictable.

Putin's mind is twisted, its sick when you see what they're doing, they have absolutely no regard for life at all.
 
Listening to Boris last night on Sky News he basically said that to Order RAF jets to attack would be a last resort.

So unless he attacks NATO first, we are unfortunately going to sit and watch.

They will blame it on the West as justification for the war. Putin and the elites will be protected. They are talking about biological/chemical weapons at the moment, Russia is saying to the rest of the UN that the US and Ukraine have been covertly making such weapons in the country. My worry is what is the logical endpoint for this made up assertion.
 
All this talk of us 'going in' is ******* insane.

Russia's army may be struggling more then expected in Ukraine, but they are still plenty capable of turning the planet into dust with their nuclear arsenal.

Economic sanctions are the only way forward against a major nuclear power.

What if they do a chemical/bio weapons attack and blame it on us? They've already threatened such an attack may affect NATO countries too.

He's just said a biological weapons attack that he blames on the US and Ukraine could cover the whole of Europe. There is such a thing as the escalation paradox where a bully who is not stopped keeps pushing the boundaries until they are.

Unless the attack is let off directly within a NATO countries border, NATO will not respond, no matter how much radiation or chemical gas drifts across from a bomb let off in another country.

Direct attack in a NATO country is the red line, not stuff drifting across a border.

I can't see this myself, if people start dying in NATO countries we are just going to do nothing?

I don't think its dementia, its just he's thick as **** and will get sucked in to believing utter nonsense. He's been spouting such rubbish for decades now. He wasn't fit to be POTUS 30 years ago and never will be. The only crisis in his whole presidency and he managed to balls it up in epic fashion. A shallow mind in a shallow man.
