Was waiting for the chutes to catch fire, disappointed.
It's not a war thought right? From UK Intelligence: Russia is increasing its military spending from 9% of annual government spending in 2022 to 30% of spending in 2023, representing a more than tripling of cost to tax payers for the war, nominally this is an extra $110 billion going to military spending next year and this money will come from cutting spending on other parts of the economy and services.
That's an absurdly large percentage. I'm no economics expert but that sounds like bs, which if it came from Russia it basically is. They'd have cancel entire social programs, huge cuts to everything from pensions to education to transport, the people would simply not accept it; I remember the trouble he had when trying to change the retirement age some years back.
If the entire country was under attack, I mean WWII style then sure you do what needs to be done to exist.
They don't have the ability to destroy it without sending multiple pilots/planes on a suicide mission, and it's not a high enough value target for that.Don't see why that bridge is still intact, it has no real benefits for Ukraine to keep as all it does is link Crimea to Russia, a link they really need to sever.
Well, as I've said before: military spending is corrupt everywhere (including most Western countries), but in the Kleptocracy of Russia it is at a total different level.this is quite a steep increase, total commitment like. Unfortunate is though, so many billions and no villas to buy!!!
What they mean is the military will receive a greater percentage of the budget that usually disappears due to corruption hehThat's an absurdly large percentage. Does Russia have the Industrial and technical ability to use that 30%? Smart weapons and modern tanks take time to make.
How much does a bag of onions cost nowadays? While I can't say for certain, I suspect most of that money will get used paying salaries because Russia now has far more people on the payroll than pre war, it's also paying out a lot in death payments to families of dead soldiers
Lots of UAE land.. or South America..this is quite a steep increase, total commitment like. Unfortunate is though, so many billions and no villas to buy!!!
Wonder how easy that is to claim if the family no have the body or dog id tag (missing in action)it's also paying out a lot in death payments to families of dead soldiers
It's probably just for show by the local vatniks to show their loyalty to the Tsar.I'm not sure that trenches in sand are a viable solution. One good shake and you're buried up to your waist at least. Plus ramping soil on the lip of the excavation.
Easier to dig though! If you're told to dig trenches and you don't care then digging in sand is much easier than frozen mud.I'm not sure that trenches in sand are a viable solution. One good shake and you're buried up to your waist at least. Plus ramping soil on the lip of the excavation.
