Putin bans Russian oil exports to countries that implement price cap

President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday delivered Russia's long-awaited response to a Western price cap, signing a decree that bans the supply of crude oil and oil products from Feb. 1 for five months to nations that abide by the cap.

Sounds like a bit of a none story to me, given his age anything could have occured, hell at MY age, and with my lifestyle, every morning I awake is a personal bonus....

But Mr. Putin's regime does have a way of concentrating the mind of his minions, just imagine the potential improvement of our postal service, and lack of industrial action if he were in charge... ;)

The number of higher ups that have a tendency to fall out of windows or off buildings is quite alarming. But yeah (sincerely), it could be anything of course. (I do of course see no reason for a sub base guy to be topped though, so it is a bit strange).

The one that is comical is the one where someone died in a 'car accident' according to the Russians. Photographs from the scene show the car littered with bullet holes. (that was a few months back).

I have long said the Russians in reality, just as in the make believe of James Bond, have a knack of making a simple murder an act of terror to warn those contemplating transgression of the federation to think carefully comrade...

Polonium in the coffee, nerve agents on door handles, umbrellas used to inject poisoned pellets in passers by. And that's just in our own UK! You couldn't make it up because it's already actual reality. And people call Suella Braverman a terrible woman <LOL>

An irrelevant change as undoubtedly it will continued to be sold on the sly in international waters and mixed so it's 'not' Russian. Also fairly clear that it's mostly about the narrative rather than actually being meaningful as it's hardly like he needs to announce it in the first place except to extract headlines.
