Ah great. The chance of nuclear war gets higher again. So the World could end over Ukraine if a nuclear reactor leaked? Lol.

Trump got lucky first time as he appealed to the disaffected. He then ****** around and annoyed everyone and didn't fulfil most of his promises. Now he's just on a random campaign of chaos. Can't see him winning at all.

The worst thing is a country of 350m people has to field 2 idiots. Crazy

Those bridges are thick, steel reinforced concreate, it's built to last. If you want to tear that bridge in two I would think your looking at hitting with at least a MOAB.

Even still though that's going to take the bridge out of action for while.

I can quite see that in a few years pretty much every NATO squad will likely end up with some poor sod carrying a drone in addition to everything else at the rate it's going, as it feels like the drones are acting as a good force multiplier/sub for dedicated specialist assets in some circumstances.

Yes I agree I think its this basically
Recognising that cheap drones fitted with a thermal camera can quickly give you a nice heads up.
Its not going to be perfect but for the average group on the ground being able to quickly map a load of them seems ideal.

I suppose you could even use a relatively small drone dropped charge on them one by one to explode them.

From what I see most demining is still being done by hand, its very slow and vert dangerous of course.
There is a guy on my twitter feed (ex US I believe but could be UK) in Ukraine and doing demining and the area they cover per day looks tiny.

Plus, they don't want to destroy it. Just disable it. In a few months, hopefully they'll be repairing it.

Lets not forget Chile, I remember at the time Thatcher had a lot of praise for the help Pinochet provided

Although it did come out that Chile feared Argentina would attack them after the Falkland's were taken, so it was self preservation.
