Solovyov goes another rant

He's complaining that he lost the keys to his BMW and it's now impossible to get a replacement in Russia.

Why did he even buy a Nazi car in the first place? Why are all Russia's elite buying Nazi/NATO cars??? They should be punished by the Kremlin for disloyalty to the motherland!

Solovyov also goes on a rant about people snitching on him

I see the hesitance of the ATACMS being given more down to the limited number held and lack of production. When you look at the relatively low number that were produced, and the number used in recent conflicts. I can understand the hesitance to hand them over especially with the PRSM not being delivered or in production yet, rather than it being an issue of range provided or escalation.
Where as JASSM in its various versions is likely still being produced/improved on. There is also precedence with other similar capabilities like StormShadow/SCALP and the possibility of the German/Swedish equivalent coming soon.

Absolutely just opinion though, I could very well be wrong, and maybe the ATACMS, JASSM are a step too far for US.

The problem is that recent simulations done in the last 12 to 24 months have shown that the US is critically low on JASM, that includes conventional JASM and also the anti ship version and as a result of the simulations, they indicate the US would wipe out its supply of all variants of JASM within 2 to 3 days in the event of a war with China.

The simulations show that the US Navy and US Air Force would basically run out of missiles long, long before they run out of launch platforms like planes and ships. And JASM is listed as the most crucial missile in the US stockpile in regards to success against China

Surly he should go to jail for 15 years for this crime? As I understand, Russia invaded to protect the Ukrainian people from (checks notes).. neo Nazi criminals that had take over the Government.

Georgia: You and what army drunken boy

Wouldn't need an army, unless Georgia takes military action, they are breakaway regions that are already effectively controlled by Russia - current estimates are around 7.5-8K Russian forces spread across the two breakaway regions along with around the same number again from the local forces.

The Russian/Russian aligned forces probably have around the same number of tanks as Georgia albeit half of them are T-55 based and the rest a mixture of T80s and a smaller number of T-72s while most of Georgia's are T-72s upgraded to almost B3 standard.

Georgia would be completely outmatched in the air however.

Its been a de facto land grab by russian forces planted on georgian soil for years now they're simply formalising it moldova or at least transnistria will be next I imagine

I can't really see Georgia doing much about it - they still depend heavily on links to Russia economically and I doubt want to get into a war over the breakaway regions even though they aren't happy about it - the situation has kind of normalised for awhile now.

Added to which, Abkhazia became indepdendent of Georgia in 1993 after a particularly brutal war. To say Georgia might face local resistance there is an understatement.

Russian media has finally confirmed that general Surovikin has been "dismissed" from his duties, though no one has seen him as he's been missing for many weeks
