you probably wont be able to travel as i guess there will be restrictions to fuel consumption according to military needs.

Most people the world over just want to get on with their lives, it's just the nutters that stir things up, and everyone allows it to happen.
The only thing the average civilian or soldier gets out of a war is dead.

Should all be fine, you just might have to pay a surcharge at the airport for a parachute :)

I agree. What was the alternative? Certain war? Or possibly no war

At least then we would have seen it Russia was honest about it not invading of they agreed
 
I wish we could hire a professional hitman/assassin to take the madman out. He has been in power for way too long and is actually crazy in the head.

Russias decline with an actual lunatic in charge is terrifying.
At some point they could use nukes. Imagine, you're manic who is basically on your death bed your legacy in taters. Anything could happen.


The way this is going. It is possible it could go to ww3. Just depends how insane putin is.

I appreciate there's a lot for those in charge, or at least at the helm to consider before providing any direct military backing/support, but I can't help but feel like we're as toothless as ever in the West. All bark and no bite , and Putin knows this.

And after all the show of support for the Ukraine we now sit back and watch Putin's plan play out, a plan that the West's intelligence predicated.
 
Well the 2020s is turning out to be a bit of a disaster.

Why are the west always on the backfoot? What do people think we should do? And is doing nothing going to cause more problems down the road?

How can we just "accept" Ukraine to be invaded? Some big decisions are going to have to be made soon, definitely a turning point in history maybe. q

We’ll all be put on notice to be conscripted if it gets out of hand. Ukraine did that for 18-61. As others have said it’s very unlikely things will happen with NATO.
