LOL they're claiming it was a goodwill gesture:
I wonder if their troops refused to be stationed there. It was a small area and a constant target. Nowhere to hide.
What are you talking about - care to explain?
If major food supplies are effected globally by Russia holding all Black sea ports how on earth do you get the Wheat out safely ?
I hope Ukraine send them some Harpoons as they're withdrawing as a goodwill gesture.LOL they're claiming it was a goodwill gesture:
One solution is to buy more wheat from Russia. The alternative is probably to watch Russia selling it to countries which then become tacit supporters.
Another is negotiating a settlement between Ukraine and Russia that allows mine clearance and use of black sea ports. That one needs time and diplomacy.
I suppose a no-fly zone and thetefore full scale Russia/NATO war is another option, but not one I'd choose.
That's good news, hopefully they can now de-mine Odesa and with the aid of a UN/NATO naval escort start exporting grain to those who need it.30-Jun-2022 09:31:00 - Moscow Exchange: Holding Discrete Auction Of Gazprom Shares — IFX

Sweden is going ahead with it's fifth aid package worth around 47 million euros for Ukraine which include anti-tank weapons, demining equipment and support weapons such as machine guns.
