UK's first live test firing of the Tomahawk Land Attack Block 4

Yeah, but our Tomahawks are only submarine launched at the moment, until the new Type 45 Destroyers are brought into service.

The Storm Shadow is launched from the Tornado and so it could be argued that it has the longest range due the Tornado's ability to refuel in-flight.

Fair enough

Nothing to do with each other? A human being is to the sky like a grain of sand is in a desert. Precision strike missiles do not work which has been proven time and time again.

I don't know what you a blathering about.

Thousands of precision weapons were used in 2003 and since and the vast majority hit their targets destroying tanks, artillery, radar systems, AA guns, bridges, buildings and just about anything else you care to mention.

Targetting of individuals is one one role out of dozens. If someone stays in a targeted building that building will be destroyed. Saddam escaped with his life by minutes on a few occasions. If he gets in a car and drives away its hardly worthy of some blanket "OMG they just don't work" comment.

shame it cant protect you from a roadside bomb made by some illiterate terrorist

IEDs, especially in the form of shaped charges cannot be used by anyone with a knowledge of explosives, weaponry and insurgent tactics. They are prepared and such training passed on by highly trained people such as specialist Iranian military units.

Ignore the guy - it's not worth it!

There are VIDEOS of AA, buildings etc.. being taken out like you said. So. Ignore the comments.

You might be happy to live in blissful ignorance of what your superiors consider 'fair game' but I for one am not.

I think you are the one living in "blissful ignorance" in that you expect a war to be fought with no civilian casulties, every war ever fought will have had some civilian losses, thats just the way the cookie crumbles.
