looks great man his set up is awesome, i would love to get my hands on a hyperspin fully configured for mame, megadrive, snes and a few others,
 
with emumovies you have to pay the sub to download the movies, can you clarify if they are in bundles or indiviual

ive been told they are in bundles but just want to make sure

also with hyperspin can you run batch files, like with maximus arcade?

is hyperspin easy to configure?

Its a FTP site, and its Bundled, fast D/L same with Hyperspin. If you are a gold member ( payed member ) you can access their FTP site, and download it as a bundle, configuring it is easy, just need to make sure that all your roms match the animation files.

It can be fun or a nightmare =)
 
Its never done... LOL. It took me about 2 months to get everything put together, the Control board, the emulations, the themes ect. Now I have to update every 2 weeks or so to get the newest themes, and to see whats going on. Labor of love.

Everything in the game room I either built or salvaged from being destroyed. Once one thing is fixed , it off to either improve or fix the next thing. Working now on getting a pinball machine in the game room, and building a Virutal pinball with a 40 inch LCD playfeild and a 28 inch scoreboard.

I do this for fun, quite drinking 3 years ago, so in my spare time I create. inviting friends over to play, and hang out is allot cheaper then hitting the casino's and gambling/drinking.
 
you seem like a good bloke..... it's just a hobby that's all, good luck to you and you obviously know your stuff.

it reminds me of Rainbow 6 Vegas.......a side room in a casino, with a couple of terrorists inside :D.
 
I thought you might be running 1024 x 768 since it seems that when I run it at 1920 x 1200, the wheel motion and general animation on screen is not as "fluid".

Can you tell us how many of the 39k games you have FLVs for?
 
Didn't you ninja-edit your post on the first page, saying something along the lines of "having no friends" or something chronicfathead :D ?

I got caught up in the whole flow of the post.

Yes I did say somtheing about having no friends, but I have no friends!

Don't you find that's the initial reaction, and then you go, actually, that's what I would do if I could? Yes, I have put linux on a Dreamcast, modded my Xbox with XBMC and run Frotz (?) on my iPhone.

EQDruid, do you mind listing which emulators (as in the app names) you use in conjunction with Hyperspin?
 
I'm probably the only person I could own! Even my 6 year old can beat me when playing Warhammer 40: Dawn of War, in fact he's further on in Crysis than I am.....

But seriously. Upon further reflection, you cant help but feel envious and jealous for such a setup :)

Those flash LEDs on the control board are so cosey and funky :D
 
you're bound to feel a bit jealous, but a poor person living in a shanty town is EXTREMELY jealous of us, so there you go....we're all well off

i would dump that lot into a very large snooker room...in a 10 bedroom country house....rent 5 rooms out and never ****ing work ever again, just game all day long.......if i won the lottery !

Thats what I felt too if we are honest, and like I said just cos' the dude is showing off his work doesnt make him a pleb.

I cannot imagine the work gone into just making the menu / flv's work etc and he updates it often. Madness but so what, a hobby he clearly is good at haha.

Just watched the video again and its just mega ace.

Keep us updated EQDruid, if you cant do a video take some pictures for us! That would be ace to see.
