I've got my i7 5820k pc and my i5 2500k pc on it as we speak
I have been doing a bit of work for this but not getting any credit on my dashboard at all.
Credits are granted after verification of the work. For many projects, a second identical task is sent to someone else. When both are returned, a project server will compare the two results. If the results of the computation match, the lower of the two credit requests is granted. Using the lower of the two prevents one form of cheating, verifying the results prevents a different form of cheating. No, I am not accusing you of cheating, but in SETI Classic, both of these forms and others were problems. Because of this, the time that it takes to grant credit for any particular task varies from seconds (typically not) through hours or days (typical) to weeks or even months (typically not). Because of the way that Work Units are batched, it is likely that many of the results you receive from any particular will be handled by the same wingman. The result of this is that you just need to be patient. The credits will be awarded eventually.

Hi JM
I have been running the BOINC client for a few days but have no credits on my POGS account. I have updated my JAVA and have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the client in an effort to check my username is set correctly but when I reinstalled it I never got any username options and it just started the ongoing projects where it left off.
Can you offer any advice please?
Thanks
Scott
