Umbrella's

In wet weather I'm proud of my classic black 'City Gent' umbrella (Think the type they always have people carrying when they portray the pin stripped City Banker with bowler hat). It's a good size so keeps me dry, it's sturdy so can handle strong winds, and doubles as a handy weapon to beat of ill brummie chavs when I'm walking around the Hospital.

I've got no issues with that although you're going to have to lift it pretty high for me, if I remember rightly you're on the short side. :)
 
I carry a huge man-brella, not a handbag size brolly

Also I lift it above people, unlike lots of people who seem to aim the points for my eyes
 
I always carry an umbrella if it looks like it's going to rain, although its a pain carrying it on the train.

Why on earth would it be gay :confused:
 
To be honest, if it is lashing down with rain, people always look down anyway to avoid getting the rain in their face/eyes. No-one will notice you anyway umbrella or not. Although i do agree you need a suit or at leat a briefcase to pull it off.

I've got a nice Ferrari branded one that I was forced to buy at Silverstone because it was tipping it down. Very nice, overly expensive but looks 'manly' :)
 
OP, just get a decent wet weather jacket, if the gay-fever is too high. Or just be a man and have you own mind - want an umbrella use one! who says you need to conform to society=ies rules. Most of society id messed up anyway
