Because Iran are more likely to use their nuclear weapons on Isreal. The Arabs hate Isreal. The US wouldn't use them. MAD doesn't work - the US are using their weapons as a leverage to stop others from building them, and then finally they can dismantle. Oh so some books suggest.

doubt it, those stupid ******* running saudi seem to listen to every word that bush says, and no one else has the means to attack america and israel
 
Given that there is no larger authority than America (at least capable and willing to enforce authority) I don't see why the UN are stamping their feet in this way - its basically one constructed concept against another and the UN has no self-belief so I can quite easily predict Guantanamo will continue for just about as long as USA want to see it there...

I wonder whether the purpose/usefulness of Guantanamo has long been forgotten but either way, trying to adapt constructions such as 'wrong' or 'right' against more important and fundamental concepts such as 'brute force' and 'self-defence' aren't going to have much effect.

All what? The UN have not even visited the complex - they refused after they were declined permission to interview inmates.
 
I knew the US never listened to the UN at least 5 years ago. I don't see what you mean by 'all coming out'

1) That guantanamo exists?

2) That the UN disapprove?

3) That the UN exists?

Give us some help here, because these three are obvious.
