Cant remember if i gave $10 or $5 but why not just charge $5 or $10 in the first place and save all the pretend rage.

If you have a "pay what you want" bundle then people will pay what they want even if its 1p if they don't set a lower limit.

some of our very own forum members did that exact thing and bragged, thought it was a poor act to be honest but didnt rise to it...if their that petty and greedy then more fool them - it will come back to bite them in the ass somehow somewhere.

To be clear, they don't care about people paying 0.01, they stopped it because people were buying LOADS of them for 0.01 to make tons of steam accounts and get loads of prizes.

no im sure they do....youd be ****ed if someone paid 0.01 for your hard labour.
making out that they are happy people are paying a scum worthy amount of cash for the games is lol worthy.

I agree with what they are doing during this time of the steam competition to cut back on the cheaters trying to get more games and coal. But the whole point of it is to give you the games for whatever you want to pay.

So I certainly hope they put it back to how it was before after the steam competition closes where you get your steam key no matter how much you pay. Seeing as it is there whole point. Otherwise just cut the crap and make the whole thing the Humble above a dollar bundle.

i agree with what they've done.

Ive always paid at minimum the average, usually rounded up to the nearest whole £ + 1 or 2 more.

They should really set the minimum to "lowest we can seel with no cost to ourselves" rather than 1 US cent.

I'm not being funny but it's not "Pay what you want" if you cannot pay $0.01.

If you do not want people paying what they want to, then set the price. Allow people to pay more if they wish to.

Simples.

Somebody linked me to this bundle saying i can get it for just 0.01 but i choose not to until iv got enough money I dont feel like im stealing 5-10 dollars imo is a minimum especially when that equates to only a couple of quid.

How does paying a penny equate to stealing on a pay what you want promotional? Is the average level of intelligence dropping so much that people can't process what "pay what you want" means?

On top of the fact that it's pay what you want, they've brought this in to make sure people aren't taking advantage of it to win prizes from Steam. They're not setting a minimum price, they're only giving Steam codes to those who choose to pay $1 or more.

I've paid a bit below the average once before, and I felt kinda guilty doing even that, nevermind ever considering paying a measly amount. No problem with them making this change.
